It’s also inexpensive, lightweight and fits easily in the side pocket of any backpack I own.

Civilians such as forestry workers, surveyors, or bush pilots, who work in remote locations or in regions with extreme climate conditions may also be equipped with survival kits. Hopefully, the comments by president Donald Trump are a wakeup call for all Americans, as his statements should have all but sealed his fate in 2020. Look forward to an overly leftist dictator for president in the next election cycle, although it won’t be much different than how Trump is acting now.
A good flashlight is a survival basic. But this isn’t just a flashlight. It’s actually a tool designed for your car, with an attached window breaker and seat-belt cutter in case things get out of hand. Accidents happen, and it’s the dude who’s prepared for it that doesn’t have to sit in an upside-down car for 14 hours, slowly bleeding to death, before someone finds him.
Survival Power: Your fitness level to climb and descend and your ability to recognize and tie good anchor points relies solely on practice — without prior knowledge or practice, using a belay device to rappel is dangerous.

Not every state is friendly towards homesteaders, which can make going off-grid even more difficult than it already is. You’ll have a much easier time if you homestead in a state that has favorable laws and natural resources for homesteaders. There aren’t any “perfect” states for homesteaders because every state government wants to dictate how… Read More
But what if the times turn? What if you find yourself in a challenging situation, away from all your friends, gadgets and thingamajigs? What if you can’t just buy your way out?
