To keep “hunting pressure” to a minimum, consider bow hunting due to the fact that gun shots can spook wildlife. You need to get a 6 to 10 inch, full tang, carbon steel knife that has a blade no thinner than 1/8 of an inch. Many Ontario knives meet these requirements, and Ontario’s knives are just as tough as their Spax. You can get knives by cold steel, buck, and scharade that are also bullet proof and wont break the bank.
