I am sorry to say this but your tent is worthless. A true survivalist would have a 4 season tent. One used on expeditions to or antartic summer. You have to survivor a winter in Minnisota, Michigan, Maine or other very cold area. Most tents bought at stores like walmart will only last one or two years of constant use. So unless you have put out big bucks for a UV protected tent and stove heater, your dead in winter.
FOR THE SMALL AMOUNT IT COST, I AM CERTAIN IT HAS GENERATED 10 TIMES THAT MUCH SUPPORT FOR THE MOST IMPORTANT REASON THAT IS TO TAKE OF OUR VETERANS THAT HAVE SACRIFICED SO MUCH AND RECEIVED SO LITTLE IN RETURN.
I purchased this kit because I wanted a different color other than black. I purchased from Overstock because it was cheaper than other stores. I am pleased with the purchase and would recommend. It comes in handy for my husband and mother.
Survival Power: Snare placement can be a key factor to whether or not you catch anything; your ability to know where to set snares relies on you learning and practicing basic trapping skills for capturing small game. Baiting traps with common game foods like nuts, seeds, and berries (and artificial baits) can help boost your snaring success.

The best thing to do when broke is blog about something you are passionate about that you know you can be monetized. It’s cheap to get started, no need to buy content, no need to outsource. You’ll have a much better time staying focused and dedicated to it.
I agree with you. 90% of the people who think they will survive from any list will be sorely mistaken. They will die. This list or any other list is a reference for people to think about. Without a doubt there are other items people will regret not having. Duplication of item is not wasteful, but resourceful. If something breaks or is lost then you have a backup. A list is just a list. Using the items on a list, repeatedly, will give ‘brain’ muscle memory. You can not go out and buy a gun, and expect to know how to use it if you have never practiced. I have been an avid backpacker for decades; often traveling alone in the back country. I know how to use my equipment very well. I don’t have to ‘think’ about how to use my equipment.
HI,coming back after a few days.turns out i was right and so was Ron.They just published a blog post in which he explains how he bought the business and took it to 1 million in sales a month.go here…..http://www.digitalmarketer.com/funnel-product-splintering/
I ordered a Recon Survival Knife this Sept and received an email confirmation saying it had shipped. The email said I would receive the order within 15 business days. After 6 weeks I called them and left 7 voicemails but never received a call back. I called back one…
I also contacted the Navy Seal Foundation to verify whether they had hooked up Walchle with the “scientist guy,” but the woman who responded seemed to have difficulty understanding what I was talking about. She knew nothing. That was understandable. I’d been on the phone all morning and knew about as much as she did.
Like other portable water filters though it has it’s limits — a Lifestraw can’t filter salt (to filter salt water you’ll have to distil it) or heavy metals, chemicals or viruses. In a survival situation or urban disaster you’ll have to use your head. Avoid drinking from ground water sources in a populated area following severe flooding or a massive earthquake. This ground water can be contaminated with chemicals and sewage. You’ll want to move further out of the area to a water source that is less likely to be contaminated with chemicals and sewage before using your Lifestraw.
That is really amazing list to choose from. I wouldn’t have thought of few items in my list untill I went through this post. I will always give most priority to knives and fire starters. As i think these can the most important tools with help of which you can make it out of the worst situation , If You don’t have access to other tools.

Whether out on the move or at home in the kitchen, seasonings make ALL the difference.https://survivallife.com/cooking-campfire-chef/?utm_campaign=coschedule&utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=SurvivalLF&utm_content=Cooking%20On%20The%20Move%3B%20Do%20You%20Consider%20Yourself%20A%20Campfire%20Chef%3F …
NOTE — A micro torch relies on fuel; when your fuel runs out, you have no more flame. You need back-up fuel (butane in this case) if you want several month’s use in an extended survival situation. One thing to note: A canister of butane is cheap and just one can go a long ways and is also easy to use). Consider both back-up butane and even a back up torch in case of rare equipment failure (or to even use as a bartering item; there’s a good chance someone else is going to want one after they see how easy it is to start a fire).
20. If you have to evac by bike, Cogburn’s CB4 fat bike has 3.8-inch-wide tires for all types of terrain and a rack-mounted scabbard for stashing a bow, rifle, or fishing rod. $1,899 (bike) and $130 (scabbard)
The medical supplies may include a blood pressure gauge, stethoscope, scissors, tweezers, forceps, disposable scalpels, two thermometers (oral and rectal), inflatable splints, bandages, sutures, adhesive tape, gauze, burn ointment, antibiotic ointment, aspirin, rubbing alcohol, ipecac syrup, sterile water, cotton rags, soap, and cotton swabs.
I think I saw a line item for a Generator. I would like to add a few tid-bits if you are leaning that way. Don’t rush out after a large emergency and trying to get one (the unit or it and it installed). I would suggest a package that incorporates the off-the-grid craze ie solar and/or wind with the typical back-up power system. (Mainly for the Batteries)… IMO A proper system. First, it should be large enough to supply all of your electrical needs. (NOT WANTS). Second, it would be a multi-fuel; and multi-source system. If you just purchased an Electrical generator off the shelf. It has a really small fuel reservoir, and most runs on only one type of fuel. Gasoline.

  1. However, this often overlooked piece of gear has many survival uses. There’s no good excuse not to include a survival bandana in your survival gear. Survival bananas are a high utility and little weight survival tool. Get one.
In the event that you need to use the paracord, you can deploy it by hand with a few forceful tugs on the ends. If you have to use your Survival Strap in an emergency, the company will replace it for free (just send in your story and $5 for shipping).
