A survival kit is something most hikers, hunters, and explorers will never break open. It will sit in the bottom of a backpack, potentially for years, encased in a waterproof vessel of some sort, lightweight and out of the way.
I don’t think you should give up the Quick Clots and swap them for maxi=pads or tampons. Quick Clot is shown to stop bleeding maybe 5 times faster which is life saving if you need that. A tampon/maxi-pad could be used for wounds, but not life threatening wounds. Just my 2 cents as a nurse.
The Ultimate Survival Kit with Premium Bag was designed for the individual that is not sure what they need to start their own Survivalkit.  This survival kit is fully loaded with all the best urban survival tools and essentials in our secure SurvivalKit.com Premium Backpack which also has enough extra space for your personal items. I purchased this kit because I wanted a different color other than black. I purchased from Overstock because it was cheaper than other stores. I am pleased with the purchase and would recommend. It comes in handy for my husband and mother.
I’m Coyote Peterson, when braving the wilderness I go up against unforgiving environments and the deadliest of animals. To survive it all, there’s one thing I don’t dare venture off trail without: …
I don’t know if this has been shared or not, but Penicillin and Amoxicillin should be included in the list of medicines, along with cephalosporin (Keflex). All of these I believe can still be found over the counter as farming supplies. Be careful, however, as the dosage for humans will be majorly different than that on the label. I would suggest getting a dosage chart for each antibiotic.
I’ve been waiting almost 30 days now on 4 different orders, about 10 days on another order, and have only recieved 2 orders out of the orders I have placed. They say the items are on back order, but they still send emails every day trying to sell the same items they say are on backorder. I’m completely disappointed in Survival Life; their shipping is downright awful and just a slap to the face. Do they not want your repeated business?

It’s certainly part of your overall plan. I personally like to add extras like freeze-dried camping meals. They don’t weigh much and they’ll fill you up. For your home preps, ask yourself, “What if I run out of food (and grocery store day is tomorrow) when the roads go down?”

Whether it’s hikes in the woods, long drives, or strolling downtown D.C., It goes everywhere with me. The quality of every item including the case is simply outstanding and I would highly recommend this purchase to anyone.

Yes, a good knife is a really great tool! The Gerber Bear Grylls knife I honestly sometimes think would be really popular in the community if it wasn’t for Bear Grylls name on it. Gets so much hate on it just for a name, which is a bit sad because in my opinion, it really is quite a good tool, especially as a practically overall survival kit. But yeah, glad you at least kept it in case you might one day want it/need it. I know many who would’ve returned it or thrown it away just cause of the name.
